We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the app.

• Account info: Name, email address, and profile details you enter when signing up.
• Resume files: PDF or document files you upload for AI review. These are processed and stored securely.
• Voice recordings: Audio captured during speaking practice sessions for pitch, tone, and filler-word analysis.
• Usage data: Session duration, features used, drill completions, and scores — to personalize your coaching.
• Device info: Device model, OS version, and app version for debugging and compatibility.

Every piece of data we collect has a specific purpose tied to making SpeakerPro work for you:

• AI coaching: Resume roasting, speaker scoring, filler-word detection, and personalized tips.
• Progress tracking: Pro Score, streaks, session history, and achievement badges.
• App improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve features.
• Communications: Transactional emails (account, billing) and optional coaching tips if you opt in.

Because resumes and voice recordings are sensitive, we treat them with extra care:

• Resume files are encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 and TLS 1.3.
• Voice recordings are processed in real time and not stored permanently unless you explicitly save a session.
• Saved sessions are stored in your private account and are not accessible to other users.
• You can delete any resume or recording from your account at any time from the app's History screen.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited cases:

• AI processing providers: Resume and voice data is sent to our AI inference partners solely to generate your feedback. These partners are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
• Analytics: Anonymized, aggregated usage metrics (no personal identifiers) to understand app performance.
• Payment processors: Billing information is handled by our payment provider. We never store your full card details.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We keep your data only as long as necessary:

• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Resume files: Retained until you delete them or close your account.
• Voice recordings: Unsaved sessions are discarded immediately after processing. Saved sessions follow account retention rules.
• Usage logs: Retained for up to 12 months for analytics, then anonymized.

You are in control of your data. Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data ("right to be forgotten").
• Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or app settings.

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard protections:

• All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3.
• Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel with multi-factor authentication.
• We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

No system is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@speakerpro.app.

SpeakerPro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
• Send an in-app notification and/or email to registered users.
• For significant changes, ask for your renewed consent where required by law.

Continued use of SpeakerPro after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
