Who We Are

Samadhan is operated by NavGurukul. The app is exclusively available to members of the NavGurukul community with a @navgurukul.org Google account.

Data We Collect

Account Info — Your Google email, display name, profile photo, selected role and council post.

Issue Data — Issue titles, descriptions, categories, photos (if attached), and comments you post.

Notification Data — Which notifications you've received and whether you've read them.

Device Token — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications only.

To authenticate you and maintain your session

To display your name and profile photo in the app

To create, assign, and track campus issues

To send push notifications about issue updates

To calculate your contribution level and badges

🚫 We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to notify you when an issue is updated, a comment is added, or an issue is assigned to you. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.

Data Sharing

We only share data with the following services to operate the app:

Google (Sign-In) Firebase (Notifications) AWS (Backend Hosting)

No other third parties have access to your data.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen → "Delete Account". This permanently removes your session data. To request full deletion of your data from our servers, contact us at samadhan@navgurukul.org.

Children's Privacy

Samadhan is intended for NavGurukul students and staff. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
