Welcome to EditPro ("we", "our", or "us"). EditPro is a professional video editing suite designed to provide high-performance multi-track timeline editing, AI tools, color grading, and video rendering directly on your device.
Your privacy is paramount. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how it is handled, and how your content is protected when using our mobile, desktop, and web applications.
Key Privacy Principle: Your videos, audio clips, photos, and project files are processed locally on your device. We do not upload, scan, or store your personal media files on any private servers without your explicit intent.
2 Information We Collect
We believe in minimal data collection. We only process information essential to the app's functionality:
- Local Media & Files: Videos, images, audio files, and fonts imported into EditPro are accessed strictly for timeline editing and rendering on your device.
- Anonymous Diagnostics & Crash Data: Non-personally identifiable diagnostic information (such as crash logs, OS version, device model, and rendering errors) to help us troubleshoot and improve stability.
- App Preferences: Local configuration data including theme preferences, export settings, and recent project metadata saved locally on your device.
3 Device Permissions
To provide video editing capabilities, EditPro may request the following permissions:
- Storage / Photos / Media: Required to import videos, photos, and audio into your editing timeline and to save exported MP4/GIF/MP3 files to your gallery or filesystem.
- Microphone (Optional): Required only if you choose to record voiceovers or live audio directly within the app.
- Notifications (Optional): Used to notify you when a long video export or background render finishes.
You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.
4 AI & Processing Features
EditPro includes smart tools such as Auto Cut, Auto Captions, Background Removal, and Color Grading. All AI models and filter algorithms operate on-device utilizing hardware acceleration. Your media is never transferred to third-party AI training pipelines.
5 Third-Party Services
EditPro may integrate standard developer SDKs provided by third parties:
- Google Play Services: Used for core framework support and application delivery on Android.
- Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: Used for anonymous crash diagnosis and performance monitoring. (Learn more: Google Privacy Policy).
6 Children's Privacy
EditPro does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected, we will take immediate steps to delete such data.
7 Security of Your Data
We implement industry-standard security safeguards. Your project assets, credentials, and configuration files are protected by your operating system's sandbox and secure local storage mechanisms.
